Insurance Litigation

When insurance coverage disputes arise, the parties will often resolve the dispute by pursuit of formal lawsuit, filed by either the insurance company or the policyholder in a court of law. The names often associated with differing types of insurance litigation include Breach of Insurance Contract, Insurance Bad Faith and a specialized insurance related lawsuit called a Declaratory Judgment action. Insurance Coverage litigation and disputes are often resolved in Court through Motions, including Motions for Summary Judgment or Trial, Mediation, or some other procedure agreed upon by the parties to the coverage dispute.
